Trip to Chandipur, Balasore & Panchalingeswar

After the last Delhi trip (without Bike) the opportunity came suddenly when we discover the sunny morning of 9.02.08 (Sunday) after the last two days of heavy rain. We got ourselves prepared within 10:00 AM and join the highway NH6 at 10:30 Am. This time we are simply alone, me, Ria & our P150. Though we request Akash, Anurag & Chira to join us, but they found themselves busy on even Sunday, and the others who don’t count us, hope already reached at Chandipur.

We reached Khragpur at around 12:30 PM and took the NH60 to reach Balasore. We took a shortcut 10km before Balasore and it helps us to save the time. Chandipur is 14km ride from Balasore. We reached Chandipur at 4:00. We make ourselves comfortable at Panthanibas, which is undertaken by OTDC.

Now here is the stunning part of this ride. When we came in front of the beach, we found that there is no sea. Some locals told me that it will be here, and again it will be here on 9:30 PM onwards. The rest part was making cleared to me by Ria, due to tide the sea goes around 5-6km back. Its make me sorry that we have to walk through the sandy beach of Chandipur but without the sea. At 9:30 PM we hear the hissing sound of the sea and soon we reached the beach and believe me it’s just under your feat.

On 10th morning we start at 8:00 AM towards Panchalingaswer. It’s a place near Nilagiri and about 30 KM from Balasore and known for the temple of Lord Shiva. This 30 km stretch is the worst part of our ride. Till Nilagiri the whole road is under construction, here all sizes of stones are ready to prick the rubber if you are careless. Though we managed to escape the whole starch without any problem, the only thing is that, once I have to adjust the chain and had to check the air pressure two times.

Some five linga of Lord Shiva is there in side a waterfall. Where Ria decided to give a puja to Lord Shiva and I found myself to capture the awesome pictorial landscape from the top of the hill. We start from Panchalingaswer at 11:15 PM towards Kolkata. Soon we reached Khragpur via Jaleswar, Belda, and Makrampur. We took our lunch a Basantpur. Yes, this is the sweetest part of our all bike trips. We always try to locate a good roadside dhaba, and took the taste of Punjabi dishes, and this time no exception, Tarka, Chana, Roti & Omelet, oops give me a handkerchief………..

From Khragpur the straight NH6 will easily took us to Kolkata via Kolaghat, Uluberia and Bally, and its just 6:00PM.

I like the enthusiasm but the quality of English is horrendous. Please get it corrected by a friend who knows English. Hope this criticism doesn't offend you.
